    Introduction :-
      Born in 1959, she graduated in 1983 from Rawalpindi Medical College as the best graduate of the year. She secured 1st position in Punjab University in all the four professional examinations which was a record and she also got distinction in 5 subjects. Declared best of the best graduates of 25 years in silver jubilee of RMC, she was honoured with 13 Gold medals. She was the best English and Urdu debator of Rawalpindi Medical College. She did MCPS in 1990 in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and FCPS in 1992.

      Associated with teaching since then and serving as Professor of Obstetrics/Gynaecology in Rawalpindi Medical College.

      She has 20 publications to her credit. Organized many national and international workshops and seminars. Selected as General Secretary of SOGP Rawalpindi-lslamabad chapter. Received pride of performance award. Has recently been honoured FCPS by Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and FRCP by Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Glasgow. She is the Editor of Journal of Society of Obstetrics/Gynaecology. She is one of the few consultants in Pakistan who are doing fetal medicine, including inutero-transfusion.

      She was elected councilor of College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in 2007, and functioned as Regional Director Islamabad Centre.
