    Introduction :-
      Professor Mumtaz Ali Marwat was born in August, 1962. He has graduated from Ayub Medical College Abbottabad in 1986 and did his FCPS in General Medicine in 1996 from CPSP. He has served as District Physician at Swat from 1997 to 1999. He joined Saidu Medical College in 1999 as Assistant Professor and Head Department of Physiology, Saidu Teaching Hospital Swat as founder teacher. He then worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Saidu Medical College Swat from 2003 to 2005 and later as Associate Professor and Head of Department of Medicine and Vice Principal (Clinical) from 2005 to 2007 in the same institution. Currently he is Professor and Head of Medical B-Unit at HMC and Vice Principal (Clinical) at Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar.

      He is having keen interest in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Diabetes. He is a member of Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology and GI Endoscopy, Pakistan Society of Hepatology. He is involved in ongoing research projects in the Medical ward and provides guidance and supervise the TMO's for writing their dissertations. He has published a number of research papers in various reputed journals. He is a reviewer of Journal of Saidu Medical College Swat and Member Proctorial Board of Journal of Khyber Girls Medical College.
