Prof. Naimatullah Khan Kundi

Introduction :-
Professor Naimatullah Khan was born in 1953. He graduated from Khyber Medical College Peshawar in 1976, obtained MCPS in Ophthalmology in 1982 and Fellowship in 1986 from CPSP. He served at the Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar and Postgraduate Medical Institute Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar from 1977 to 1989. Currently, he is Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. He is teaching at Khyber Medical College since 1989. He is Head Examiner for the undergraduate examination in Ophthalmology. He is also involved in the activities of CPSP as supervisor, paper setter and examiner. He runs residency program for fellowship in Ophthalmology, is examiner for IMM, MCPS and FCPS-II Examinations in Ophthalmology. His areas of special interest are lacrimal surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy) and tortional phaco surgery. He has ten (10) original papers on eye diseases published in various national and international journals. He has attended many National and International Ophthalmological Conferences. He is supervising the dissertations as a part of requirements for FCPS II examination in Ophthalmology. He is a life member of the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan. He held the office of President of the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan KPK branch. He is also executive member of the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan KPK branch.
